The Shiva Hypothesis (Netherlands): “Promo 2015”

​Hailing from Enschede, Netherlands, The Shiva Hypothesis are a blackened death metal quartet formed in 2012. I have received this three-track promo, which is up to now the only release of the band. For being a promo, the Netherlandish guys have done an excellent job: the three tracks are built on a solid riffing combined with a clean and accurate production. The lyrical themes revolve around mythology and mysticism. In quantitative term it is not much, but this promo definitely offers twenty minutes of pleasant death black metal. At the moment, the band are still looking for a label, so I hope this promo and this article will help them in their quest.
