The album, which comes with an old-fashioned and quite stereotypical cover depicting what seems to be a kind of a demon, offers an uncompromised and unpretentious death / black metal of the harshest kind: it is like a fist in your face, but it is also unimpressive. In fact, the craftsmanship of the riffing is very ordinary, and the album as a whole is flat; it lacks highlights and fails to engage the listener. The shifting between black metal and death metal, and sometimes even brutal death, does not add anything interesting, and some guest vocals by Beldaroh of Polish black metal vets Besatt do not help. Besides, the bad sound production contributes negatively. Mediocre.
