Nordjevel (Norway): “Necrogenesis”

Formed not before 2015 by Doedsadmiral and Nord in Østfold, Norway, with two albums out and a participation in the 2018 edition of Inferno Festival, in four years Nordjevel have become one of the most important black metal bands in the international panorama. Their sophomore album Necrogenesis is a good candidate to best black metal album in 2019: explosive riffs with hyper-fast blast beats, masterfully executed and perfectly recorded, Necrogenesis will surely appeal to those who love brutal black metal. Nordjevel showcase an almost infinite bank of riffs and an incredible drumming, which is no surprise since the drummer is the immense Dominator, former drummer of Dark Funeral.  In addition, Nordjevel have spared no efforts in putting this album together: there are no intros or outros, and every single second of this album is pure vehemence and violence. To put it short, Necrogenesis is an example of excellent, modern Norwegian black metal.
