Malauriu (Italy): “Morte”

Malauriu are a sinister band from Sicily, Italy, whose name in Sicilian dialect means roughly ‘evil omen’. This band was formed near Agrigento in 2013 and has been relatively prolific in this lustre of activity; up to now, they have produced the full length Semper ad Mortem Cogitantes and a number of singles, splits and EP's. Their latest effort is an EP titled Morte, which translates for ‘Death’; it is not difficult therefore to guess the favourite themes of the band that delivers mystery, evil, pain in a thorny and unfriendly sound. This EP is a punch in your face.
