Nekros Philia is the band's first full length since then and delivers uncompromising, raw black metal, as is in the tradition of all the bands labelled Woodcut Records. Originality isn’t the strong side of this album though, although good, engaging hook-lines are to be found here and there in the album. On the other hand, the complicated structure of the album, which contains 12 tracks including two intros, two interludes, an outro, and seven chapters, reveals a though out work of composition behind it. But I’m afraid it’s too little for a band that’s been around for more than twenty years, and the Finnish trio should take a step further in order to stand out of the crowded mass of the underground.
