Lubbert Das are an impressive Dutch band from the stable of the German label Dunkelheit Produktionen. The band were formed in 2012 in Nijmegen and have so far released the Keye demo in 2012 and an EP titled Deluge. The latter is a wonderful example of black metal full of atmosphere, melody and rage with a type of sound and production that is in my opinion typical of atmospheric black metal. Two songs are included in Deluge, but both are quite long and above all both are pearls. Ideal for those keen on having atmosphere within the fury of black metal.
