Khaos Labyrinth (Russia): “Kaos Kvlt | Path to Nihil”

​From the icy Russia, this band is one of the most interesting novelties in the melodic black metal scene. Khaos Labyrinth arose in 2011 from the ashes of two disbanded bands, Das ist Unrein and Nebiroth, and debuted in 2012 with a demo and two years later the first full length arrived; after an EP, the band has also released the sophomore album Kaos Kvlt | Path to Nihil, which is a demonstration of the excellent qualities of the Russian band. Skillful musicianship and Excellent songwriting are shown in this album, and even the production is very polished. Sometimes they resemble Dimmu Borgir of Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, but they also pay tribute to the Swedish tradition. As for the lyrical themes, you can well imagine from the title and the moniker that they deal with anti-religion and chaos. To conclude, a very solid and beautiful album that I recommend to everyone.
