Ad Infinitum Satanic Adherent is a furious black / death / thrash metal attack launched with fulminating riffs and supersonic blast beats. Infernal Execrator deliver a black / death metal whose riffs have a clear thrashy matrix; their trademark is speed. This is not the umpteenth band that is just all out speed; the Singaporeans have competence and a professional approach, which makes their product effective. You can figure it out from the high technical skills of the musicians and the excellent production; the latter in particular indicates that Infernal Execrator do not want to sound old school, but want to have a modern sound. I appreciate this, even considering that sometimes an old school sound might lead to obsolescence. Nevertheless, a drawback is that the songs are a little repetitive as well as not very original; for this reason I believe that the choice to make quite a short album that only lasts 26 minutes is wise. And for the same reason I believe that “Singatheos Regimentum Mastema” is the best song on the album, because it is the song that has most variation with mid tempos and solid rhythmic bridges.
The lyrical themes are mostly anti religion and blasphemy.
Ad Infinitum Satanic Adherent is really a good album that I recommend to the lovers of high-paced death / thrash / black metal.
