Heervader were formed in 2002, but they have only released one demo and two splits including this one. The band is actually a solo-project and is responsible for the first three songs delivering black metal with clear folk and pagan influences and Dutch lyric; nothing new but honest.
Ancestors Blood were also formed in 2002 but they are much more prolific: they have in fact released three albums, the latest of which Hyperborea after this split. Their contribution to this split is a four-song live that I do not find very interesting nor I see the point of.
All in all this split is not that interesting, but it can be something to listen to if you are really looking for new bands from the deep underground to listen to.
Notes:
This split was released on December 3 2015 on Heidens Hart Records.
