"Death Sentence" is one of the songs which are very focused on the negative message sunk into the lyrics. The next song, "Third Day of Creation" creates a melodic atmosphere while the drums blast along with the guitar riffs. "Red Room" has a first riff which is very reminiscent of some Dark Funeral songs, and I believe that Ahriman would approve the brutal and melodic touches of Curse Upon a Prayer, especially because the band's emphasis on anti-religious lyrics is one of their strong statements.
However, not everything is fast-paced tremolo picking second wave black metal stuff. The band also delivers moments that invite us to immerse ourselves in the dark depths through calm whispered vocals and catchy ambiance. Vocals morph between screams, whispers, shrieks, and the overall production is quite good for the intended filthy sound. In the song "Rotten Tongues" the band praises death to Allah, with a drumming militaristic pattern, which is really interesting and intense. And right after this, the next song begins with an orchestration, and at this moment we're already levitating, leaving space for all kinds of negative thoughts....
You look at the band member’s pictures, with their hidden faces behind white bandages, and the curiosity arises. The thing we know about these white ghosts is that they are here to announce the apocalypse and their sound and words are drawn around that very message. Recommended for fans of ominous black metal with an occult tendency.
