Cult of Fire's double album Moksha / Nirvana, anticipated by the single (Un)clean last year, has finally arrived. The Czech band continues its journey through Vedic and Hindu spirituality; in particular Moshka is dedicated to the ascetic Baba Keenaram who founded the Aghori sect in India in the 16th century BC; Nirvana explores instead the five Tantric paths of Buddhism that lead to the creation of the five Buddhas. Moshka / Nirvana is a very heartfelt and important album for the band, especially from a thematic point of view and from an intellectual point of view. Cult of Fire have rewritten the way of doing black metal and are unique especially for their profound spirituality. Immense.
