After being widely anticipated, the new album by Swedish Craft has finally been released. The release date is perhaps not accidental, given that in Sweden on June 22nd the eve of Midsummer is celebrated. However, those who follow this webzine might have already listened to the three tracks premiered from White Noise and Black Metal, and they probably already have an idea about what the new album sounds like. White Noise and Black Metal is the first album of Craft after Void from 2001, an album that I love. The new album in a sense continues on the same path of psychotic and morbid atmospheres, spectral riffs, to which Craft this time add some dissonances from time to time. It is an album that does not pander and can be difficult to listen to at first, but it is certainly an album to enjoy. After Deceptis by Avslut, another Swedish band, White Noise and Black Metal can be another candidate for the title of album of the year.
