It was Saturday evening March 21st: along with two friends of mine I was heading for a The Stone concert at Dom Omladine, Belgrade. The Stone had for this concert two support bands Paimonia and Mor. This was the concert I was so eager to see, that I could not wait to get there. First of all because I wanted to hear songs from the new album Nekroza played live and secondly I wanted to see the novelties that the most famous Serbian black metal band had prepared for the tour 2015 as to their appearance. While I was approaching Dom Omladine I saw a lot of fans waiting for their favorite band to perform. We were outside of the concert hall, waiting for the concert to begin.
The concert was scheduled at 8:30pm and we were supposed to get in around 8:00pm, but shortly after I had arrived (and of course I was in a hurry to get my accreditation and to enter the hall) I found out that the concert had been delayed an hour because of sound check issues, which is normal. While I was waiting I could hear other fans discussing about the new album and the songs as well by The Stone, so I could see that the rest of the people was as eager as me for the concert to start.
Finaly we got inside at 9:00pm and the concert started at 09:30pm.

And finally, after two hours waiting for the most important band in the Serbian black metal scene, at 11:30pm The Stone approached the stage The hall was full of the people and all of them cheered the band. This was the moment everyone was waiting for and i could tell it by the reaction of the audience. The strong influence that The Stone have on the Serbian metal scene could be felt in every corner of the concert hall and one more interesting fact is that over the years they haven't lost anything of their strength, power nor enthusiasm, but they just grow better and more serious. As usual for every tour The Stone make some changes in the outfit, and for this 2015 tour vocalist Nefas, besides the usual chains on his hands, new decor appeared: with the black phantom mask on his face without holes for the eyes and the mouth, with the hood and the leather trousers and jacket, with the bloody red hands and chest, he looked like the death itself. The rest of the band had amazing corpse paints and usual leather and spikes outfits. The most important thing about The Stone is that they have been present in the metal world for almost 20 years and during that time they have made their name, not only for the Serbian black metal fans, but in other countries as well. The concert started with “Dani Crni” (‘Black Days’), “Pesimizam” (Pesimism) followed, then “Sekao duboko, zakopao plitko” (‘Deeply Cut, Shallowly Buried’) from the album Golet (2011), “Prividjenja” (‘Visions’) from the album Zakon Velesa (2004); after this one vocalist Nefas announced that the next song is “Nekroza” (‘Necrosis’) and the audience exploded. Since the very moment they got up the stage, the crowd had been constantly singing along with Nefas, headbanging and getting wild; the band made a connection with the audience instantly. “Zakon sile, trijumf smrti” (‘Law of Force, Triumph of Death’) from the album Magla (2006), “Sunovrat” (‘Fallback’), “Dabog”, from the first album Slovenska Krv (2002), “Kamenolom” (‘Stonepit’), small break and then “Lov na Vestice” (‘Witch Hunt’) and as last song, my personally favourite song by The Stone ever, “Neke rane krvare vecno” (‘Some Wounds Bleed Forever’) from the homonymous album released in 2007. Every concert of The Stone is a true spectacle, so this one was no exception.
Even with the sound issues they managed yet another concert not easy to forget. Their interaction with the audience was outstanding and the fans followed each song by singing along with the band, the atmosphere that really make you chill. I would like to express you how deep and important this concert was for me as one of The Stone fans, but I can't. The fact is that you have to participate and experience it yourself to feel this energy and power that the band showed during the concert and of course the depth of the lyrics is amazing and seemed to have touched every person present at Dom Omladine. Their stage presence and technical performance were very similar to studio albums.
My subjective feeling, all in all, is that the choice of the bands for this event is really good and that The Stone once more demonstrated why they are the leader Serbian black metal band.

2.Pesimizam (Nekroza ,2014)
