The event that was held in Stoccolms on June 17, Make a Noise Sthlm!, was not the usual, ordinary metal event, like the many that take place in Stockholm during the concert season. Make a Noise combined a variety of subcultures within music and visual art. In fact, instead of the usual stands of merchandise, there were artists who exhibited their works, and some of them sold gadgets of different kinds. As for the bands, the first four were Swedish and each of them represented a different style: deathmetallers 6th Awakening, blackmetallers Grift, melodic death / blackmetallers Netherbird, melodic deathmetallers Frantic Amber, and to close the evening symphonic blackmetallers Carach Angren from the Netherlands. The visual artists are also exponents of different styles from photography to painting and handicraft and the common thread of their work is the theme of indentity; behind the whole event there is actually RTSI, a cultural group that is active within this field. The artists are Norwegian photographer Daria Endresen, Swedish artists Julia Pivén, Sara FE, Axel Torvenius, and French Nihili. Now I will leave the word to the images, both photos and videos; the galleries with photos of the bands will arrive soon, so stay tuned.
