A naked body, lost and smooth nestled in the semi-obscurity of a pine forest. The fog and the windchill on the heaths of the highest deserts. It's the soul of a vulture god perched on a vertical crest.
Animist, rustic, poor and sylvan.
Sus Scrofa revisit their primitive, archaic and deep roots. Picking up where they left off in 1994. In a time when European black metal bands weren't releasing albums but manifestos.
Considered as French pagan black pioneers. Sinistre Sylve is extracted from a mossy gangue. Long time silent. Far from the frenzied and excited major highways, far from the hubbub of the world.
Sus Scrofa is watching from afar the hollow citadels that are nothing but hot air.
Bio
Sus Scrofa was born in France in 1991 at the foot of the Pyrenean mountain. The band recorded 3 demo tapes. Nearly 600 copies of Dins ech cel d'Asteartia were sold in 1994.
Embassy productions (the label that released the first Gorgoroth album) offered a deal to the band. The same year the band split up. Then Arexis and Lafforgue formed Stille Volk.
In 2015 the band is back and is about to release its first album on Nomos Dei productions.
