Mighty Satyricon get ready to cast a dark shadow upon Europe, with a majestic tour that will take off from the Netherlands on April 4, with its final stage in Stockholm on April 26.
“The Dawn of a New Age Tour 2015” celebrates the release of Satyricon: Live at the Opera, the double CD/DVD covering the band’s breathtaking performance with the Norwegian National Opera Chorus.
According to Satyricon’s official statements, this is going to be quite a peculiar tour, marking the beginning of a new age for the Norwegian blacksters: in fact, Satyricon have announced they will perform more less-known songs, occasionally inviting external musicians and also fans to jam onstage with them, bringing something more to tracks. In the band’s view, this is also a way to establish a more direct relationship with their fans, and at the same time steer away from the traditional mechanisms of music business.
