On April 23, 2014 former bassist of Italian death/doom metal band Novembre passed away. An announcement was made by the band through their official Facebook:
“We just got word our friend and former band mate FABIO VIGNATI (aka Puccio) left us. We are speechless. He was an amazing bass player and music arranger and his Floydian guitar solo on “Swim seagull in sky” remains one of our highest points in our musical career. I want to remember him with a couple of pictures of me and him, from our first trip to Sweden for the recording of “Wish I could dream it again”. Bye mate!

Fabio had been a member of Novembre from 1993 (the year in which the band was formed) to 1999 and was the bassist of the band on two albums: Wish I Could Dream It Again from 1994 and Arte Novecento from 1996. He was also the bassist, guitarist and keyboard player of In Deum Maledicus, a now spli-up black metal duo from Rome; the drummer and vocalist was Giuseppe Orlando, who is also the drummer of Novembre. The circumstances of the death of Fabio are to us unknown. Here below the images and the song with which Carmelo from Novembre wants to remember him.
