The iconic Norwegian black metal has just been added to the bill of Inferno Festival 2014. Below the news from Inferno Festival’s homepage is quoted.
“Norwegian band KAMPFAR is ready for INFERNO METAL FESTIVAL 2014 at John DEE during Indie Recordings Label Night. The band has a new album coming in 2014 called "Djevelmakt". KAMPFAR also celebrates their 20-year career in 2014 and we look forward to hearing from timeless classic albums like "Mellom skogkledde aaser", "Fra underverdenen" and "kvass". Fill your horn with mead and join the party when KAMPFAR release all hell during INFERNO METAL FESTIVAL 2014!
2014 marks Kampfar's 20th anniversary and at the same time they are ready with a new album and concert at Inferno Metal Festival 2014. The band was founded from the ashes of the black metal band Mock when it ended in 1994. With more folk-inspired melodies and lyrics about Norse mythology Kampfar found their own sound in the Norwegian black metal scene. "Djevelmakt" is the band's sixth album and shows that they are more vital than ever – something they will prove at the Inferno Metal Festival 2014. Kampfar plays the club day at John DEE and is a part of Indie Recordings Label Night.”
