Bad news for blacksters: Polish black metal band Blaze of Perdition on November 2nd, 2013, around 6:30 AM, had a car accident while travelling to Austria for some performances. Bassist Wojciech Janus, known as Ikaroz and in Blaze of Perdition as 23, died while all the other members of the band are hospitalized in critic conditions; singer Sonneillon (Paweł Marzec) is in deep coma.
Blaze of Perdition is active since 2007 and was founded in Lublin, Poland. They debuted in 2009 with a split together with Russian black/death metal band Pseudogod entitled In Void and Serpent the Spirit Is One; in 2010 they released their first full-length album, Towards the Blaze of Perdition, and in 2011 the second album The Hierophant came out. In 2013 the band released a single called Necrosophist and a split with The Devathorn,black metal band from Greece, entitled 418 - ATH IAV.
