Bad times for the Italian scene: in the last few hours, the black metal band Stigmhate and the Italian metal in general have lost the singer, guitarist and frontman of the band, Marco Gambicchia. The announcement of the painful event comes directly from the Facebook page of the band: “Unfortunately, this is not a news. It's hard for me to write at this juncture. Our friend Marco has left us. I cannot find the words to describe my grief and the shock that I feel inside. I hope he can now feel better where he is. My thought goes to his family at this particular time; I think silence, time and memories are the only cure. I will miss you always.” Stigmhate had recently released their new album, Od Zodacare Zodameranu on Bakerteam Records label, which released this statement: “Bakerteam Records is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stigmhate's frontman Marco. We convey our sincerest condolences to Marco's family, friends and bandmates. Filippo, Enzo and Angelo."
