On 14 November, 2014, Swedish black metal band Netherbird held a celebratory concert at En Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The Stockholm based band celebrated both the ten year anniversary and, as singer Nephente said on the stage during the concert, the band’s funeral; it was actually the last Netherbird’s concert because the band is going to split. Three other other bands participated in this special event: Hyperion, Astrophobos and Diabolical. Netherbird’s show featured guest appearances of old and new friends and ex-members. I had the honour of video-interviewing Nephente on this special occasion; he explained the reasons of Netherbird’s splitting, but we also talked about much more besides. Unfortunately the quality of the video is not the best and there is noise in the background, sorry about that. I hope however that you will enjoy the video-interview below all the same.
